No wonder the women there always leave town to find men.
Dead/dying ash trees in background still standing. Always sucks to see that but no/very limited canopy gives them a pass when the beautiful trees get whacked!
I had 1.05” digital and 1.2” analog. That’s the first time time year I’ve seen a difference. It was quick and sideways.
The NWS said there's so much rotation they can't issue a warning for each.
At least that's what WGN said. Tom Skilling is missed. Some Max Velocity channel on YouTube is beating WGN with coverage
Niece in Urbandale lost 3 trees. Luckily her house is fine structurally. Had to park a ways away and walk in.
WGN should have placed Tom Skilling in a glass case labelled "Break In Case of Emergency".
We live a half mile north of Bucs Ice Arena. Saw the debris ball approaching from Karen Acres and ran for the basement. Warning didn’t sound until it had already passed. Tornado basically took a stroll down our street. Fortunate we didn’t take too much damage, but a lot of houses and vehicles east of us got rocked. A shingle tore through one of our window screens.
I sat by him on the L one time, no one in my family believes me but I know in my heart it was him.
Janesville, WI. Wasn't supposed to rain at all. It was sunny where I was so I was really confused at first. A cold front came through and produced a small lime of storms.
Max Velocity is great. Ryan Hall has kind of jumped the shark, but Max is just a straight up broadcast meteorology junkie. The future of weather coverage imo.
