Sounds like they put a curfew in place for Greenfield tonight and basically shut down access to the town to deter looters. Sad that could be a problem that people want to exploit someone's tragedy.
Saw a post shared by someone that lives near there. One of their neighbors is missing a 24 foot livestock trailer that got blown away from their farm. They've found most of their equipment but not their trailer.
The drone footage is heartbreakingUsed to drive through Greenfield every day on the way to work (from Cumberland to Indianola). I always thought it was a beautiful little town, and this is just devastating.
From KCCI app, ISP issued one.Sounds like they put a curfew in place for Greenfield tonight and basically shut down access to the town to deter looters. Sad that could be a problem that people want to exploit someone's tragedy.

And where the cars ended up that drove straight into it
I am looking at replanting 1/3 of corn and beans. Maybe more. Have 46 acres not planted yet, which is a good thing. I don’t like the idea of planting corn in June , but we will this year. Rain totals and pics of fields, if true are wild

Never researched the idea much. There is some irrigation close to me but that is on lighter soil that needs extra water during the growing season.I get it. Not enough moisture from this drought we can't seem to get out of. Have you thought about an irrigation system?
I work nights and usually wake up around mid-to-late morning so imagine my surprise when I wake up at 10 AM and it's still dark out. And literally 5 seconds later the sirens are going.the 2020 derecho still gives me a little PTSD
Look at this video out of Texas.
Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry for your family but glad to hear everyone is physically okay.My parents are from the Greenfield area and we have tons of extended family still there. All are ok but a few homes are completely gone of family members. As if that's not bad enough, many are missing their pets still which just breaks my heart. Some pics of my Great Aunt's home which is obviously no more.

Kinda looks like the builder wanted it to blow down. Never seen a house framed like that and I know nothing about framing.Buildings that are not complete are very susceptible to storm damage
