I hope EVERYONE is being careful moving snow. I know to many guys who have had heart attacks moving snow.

Actually, the exact opposite. Cold air is denser (heat / warm air rises).

First part you are on the right track. Due to the increased density it vastly improves performance as there is more air density to lift.
These snow storms in central Iowa are going to be a debacle for at least a couple of weeks. Not really going to warmup for melting. I saw around Jan 23/24 there is rain forecasted with high temps around 38. Can't wait....

Get one of the portable ones that connects to your 12v outlet in the car, and then pump them up in the garage. Best $30 I ever spent.
I have a 30 year old furnace so I run the fireplace all day, put a space heater by in the same area as the thermostat, and have a humidifier going. The furnace hasn't kicked on since about 9 this morning. I keep my thermostat at 65.
I figured since it's going to run all night anything I can do to give it a rest during the day is helpful.

Love the air hoses at Kwik Star. Don't need a tire gage. You set the desired air pressure and start pumping your tire up. The air automatically shuts off when it reaches that pressure.
Costco does the same. Really nice when the weather is cold and you don't want to waste any time out there messing around.
