Had some of that at their taproom a couple weeks ago. Its tasty.

That stuff is great. Last winter I found a Confluence "Monster" Oatmeal Cookie Stout, which was even better. I bought one but never saw it in stores again.

That's good and so is the girl scout cookie one.

Two or three months ago they also had a peanut butter cup porter, I think it was. I love porters and stouts this time of year, especially with a hint of sweetness.

My wife did that last night too. Started a new job at UI hospital in Dec. Not worth making the trip from CR to IC last night. She should be fine tonight...maybe.

When I called the opening manager who comes from Des Moines seemed kind of miffed about me calling in.

I came in Tuesday and Friday when I probably had no business doing so and Friday I was only day employee to come in. Since Aug. 26 I've worked every day but Thanksgiving and Christmas day so I think I'm allowed a freaking snow day.

I want OSU to be safe, fans to be safe, but it would be nice to play late tonight/tomorrow if possible. This league is a grind and it would be nice to not squeeze a game in later.
Agreed. If we would have to reschedule, at least it would be a home game. Would rather squeeze that in than a trip to Stillwater.

I know there are logical reasons not to move it to tomorrow (i.e. we both play on Tuesday), but that's no different than a Saturday to Monday game. And it would pretty much solve all the problems.

Boy if you look at the projected radar today, there's going to be snow for a big chunk of the day in various places. Not much, but enough to impact travel. It was spitting a little snow in West Des Moines a few minutes ago.

I am running out of places to put snow.

FFS, what exactly is the problem?

The current radar doesn't show any bad weather over their flight path, you have numerous planes landing like a normal day in Des Moines today if you check the arrivals, and people who have driven I-35N say it's fine.

It could be getting approval to take off. With so many commercial cancellations yesterday, I'm guessing commericial flights get priority.

Thursday, Feb 1 makes a lot of sense for a new date. ISU has no weekday game that week, and OSU plays in Lawrence that Tuesday night.

That's our bye week though, we need to get this game in either tonight or tommorrow. We've literally played 2 games in about the last 35 days, we'll need that week to rest for once since they got rid of that stupid SEC challenge.
