Snow Plow Camera Images (Iowa DOT)
Thinned image collection that come from the Snow Plow Dash Camera in the past 30 minutes for every other photo when trucks were going faster than 5 mph.

It looked like the 12z GFS backed off considerably on ISU’s meteogram generator. 12z NAM was still high though.
School district is "proactively" sending at home learning stuff with kids today. Said no closure decision made yet but I'm betting it's on the way. Daycare also sending a fear mongering message that's basically trying to get us to say we'll keep the toddler home. My dudes, you underestimate my desire to utilize the expensive childcare I pay for so I can "work" unencumbered.
Worse as you go further south... that's fun. I work in NE Iowa. I live about an hour north of where I am working tonight. I fully expect to get off and drive south right into the teeth of this b*tch. Bring it.
Our daycare is at the end of our block. We are walking those kids through several feet of snow before they ruin my work from home day
Neighbor down the road has those big ass St. Bernard's. I will lasso those things to sleds and put the kid in his snow suit. Actually, I bet they could pull the bike trailer.

Most schools will be out tomorrow, my former school has already cancelled for Tuesday, it was in the school announcements a few minutes ago. Many of the schools can quickly switch over to video learning, just tell the students to be sure to take their computer home tonight and check google classroom for assignments that will be posted tomorrow.
If that is Toonces the Driving Cat, I think you'll do well on your drive home.
