Well, right now the eye of Milton has disappeared. Still spinning pretty good, but has to be better than having the buzz saw it was. Hopefully it either ingests enough dry air or moves fast enough to not blow up again before hitting the coast.
They updated earlier that he accepted the offer to go into a hotel. Made me feel sad to think about him...glad someone talked him into being more safe.
Nope, that guy confirmed he didn’t and he was talking to him within the last hour. He’s riding it out on the boat.
Also there’s a betting money line on him.

Agree...and not knowing anything about this guy...who knows what his agenda/beliefs are...and obviously there are people there trying to reason with him...so in the end you are spot on: it is his own fault.
Good news: it looks like Tampa will be on the north side of the storm, which should limit the storm surge for that area. But Sarasota to Venice looks to take a big beating today/tonight
