I believe because he played he has to apply for it, which I'm sure he will but isn't automatic like the other two.

I herd recently (not sure where) that Medical Red Shirts can only be applied for after the season has been completed, thus Fish will apply and almost certainly get it approved in this summer. The chart is technically correct today though.

I believe the school basically does it for him in the offseason. Really no benefit in waiting.
