***Official 2024 Chicago Cubs Thread***

Unreal, Cubs come back from 10-3 down to take the lead. Pirates bullpen stinks.

He doesn't but they are still putting him out there.
Wicks, Brown, Wesneski all being down has kind of forced the hand. No one at Iowa has performed real well, Horton down as well.

I'd think they could IL Hendricks and give Adrian Houser a go now though.

I've said this a few other times this season, but this is the type of game that can spark a huge run.
This offensive line-up at the moment is deep right now. Tough for pitchers to get through (other than Busch). That said I want to see it vs the Yankees & Dodgers instead of the crap teams we have been playing of late.

The bottom of the lineup has gone from one of the worst in the league to one of the best recently

Sure has, and at the top Happ & Suzuki have hit well. Bellinger been steady & Parades is finally starting to come on a little bit. Busch is the one in a major rut right now.

Almost wish the Cubs didn't have a day off tomorrow. Could tell after the last out the dugout and handshake line was feeling the mojo after that comeback.

Big sweep. You had to C this game to believe it.

I wonder if this club as currently constructed is already good enough to be a playoff team even if belli opts out. With pca and Amaya going from black holes to studs on offense and fixing the bullpen you have to wonder how close we’d be to the brewers if it happened earlier.

That fly ball in the 3rd was abysmal lol.
