Move Lipsey to a walk on (because in-state tuition is cheaper than out of state), then rally the troops to give to the We Will collective, give Tamin a boatload of money to cover his tuition, room, and board, plus some extra cash for being a selfless team player and doing this for a year to win a big 12 championship and get to a final four. Then offer Nelson his scholarship. Boom, simple enough.WANT!!!!!!!!!
How do we make room???
Saw on On3 Villanova could be in play?Sounds like Hunter Dickinson might announce today. From what I read, no one has been informed of where he is going. Keeping it pretty tightly held.
Most schools will be all over this kid.Guessing Iowa will be all over this kid.
Pulling your starting PGs scholarship. Not real big on optics are you?Move Lipsey to a walk on (because in-state tuition is cheaper than out of state), then rally the troops to give to the We Will collective, give Tamin a boatload of money to cover his tuition, room, and board, plus some extra cash for being a selfless team player and doing this for a year to win a big 12 championship and get to a final four. Kind of a serious question though, say someone on the team was eligible for an academic scholarship, could you move them off an athletic scholarship to utilize the academic scholarship, freeing up an athletic scholarship?
Once a kids on scholarship, I don't believe you can take him off and put on academic scholarship. With NIL there might be a work-a-round, but I would be surprised if ISU would go to those lengths.Move Lipsey to a walk on (because in-state tuition is cheaper than out of state), then rally the troops to give to the We Will collective, give Tamin a boatload of money to cover his tuition, room, and board, plus some extra cash for being a selfless team player and doing this for a year to win a big 12 championship and get to a final four. Honestly if we added Nelson there's no way Jones and Ward stick around for next season. Sometimes problems solve themselves.Once a kids on scholarship, I don't believe you can take him off and put on academic scholarship. And I don't feel it is a good look for the guys currently on scholarship to at this late date push a kid out to gain a scholarship. It destroys the culture TJ is trying to build. Loyalty is a 2 way street.

247 is saying, surprise, Arkansas. Most schools will be all over this kid.
Counts against limit regardless, as does trying to give a kid a track scholly then having them play football.Move Lipsey to a walk on (because in-state tuition is cheaper than out of state), then rally the troops to give to the We Will collective, give Tamin a boatload of money to cover his tuition, room, and board, plus some extra cash for being a selfless team player and doing this for a year to win a big 12 championship and get to a final four. I believe it gets even better than that... Don't University children get discounted tuition as well... I would support this via We Will even though it's not gonna happen...Move Lipsey to a walk on (because in-state tuition is cheaper than out of state), then rally the troops to give to the We Will collective, give Tamin a boatload of money to cover his tuition, room, and board, plus some extra cash for being a selfless team player and doing this for a year to win a big 12 championship and get to a final four. Was just coming in to say this, lolGuessing Iowa will be all over this kid.
Might solve the immediate issue, but what do you think Jones or Ward are going to say at their next stop? Coaching is a small family when it comes to recruiting reputation.Honestly if we added Nelson there's no way Jones and Ward stick around for next season. Sometimes problems solve themselves.
I guess I assumed a jimlad wasn’t necessary, hence why I followed up with “kind of a serious question though…” (because I wasn’t being serious about pulling Tamin’s scholarship)Pulling your starting PGs scholarship. Not real big on optics are you?
By the way Shirley was on full academic scholarship. Still counted against the total just didn't cost the athletic department anything.
Sorry, I don't speak moron.I guess I assumed a jimlad wasn’t necessary, hence why I followed up with “kind of a serious question though…” (because I wasn’t being serious about pulling Tamin’s scholarship)
