You're right. I live in KC and often watch streams without sound so if mentioned in a telecast I'm not going to known. Looked it up and saw where he got dinged with pitch clock violations and started calling his own pitches 2 months ago. I had no idea. N

Agreed. When a player hasn't just struggled,but had a bad approach get him out.

He connected. Still has had a horrendous approach, trying to hit a 6 run homer every time up, when all he needs is contact.

Poster on Hendricks might be correct but Gomes is setting up high, on the upper part of the zone, with the wind blowing out. WTf is he doing?

Joe Maddon would frequently say he hates computers because of the information they CANT tell you. And part of me thinks that’s what Ross’ problem is.

Wisdom and Morel hit vs lefties because our front office, and Ross, have analytics that show their BAT PATH is the best option on the roster. Nevermind they’re hitting .200, strike out a ton, and are colder than ice at the plate.

But **** basic baseball IQ, the computer model shows they have a good swing path so damnit we’re going to start them!

I looked up Schwarber's stats over the weekend. Has a .190 avg, 175 Ks (will probably get to 200, as he did last year), 40 HRs, bats leadoff for a potential playoff team.

Not trying to be a smartass, but what does "basic baseball IQ" say about that? I really don't understand it, but the game has changed.

Still not totally comfortable with him in tight spots, but holy hell, Cuas was a hell of a get by the FO at the deadline.

He walks a ton, makes him the poster boy for avg don't matter. Slug and on base are pretty solid.
