Yesterday's high: 95
Tonight's low: 46

That's quite a swing. Not that I'm complaining. Highs in the mid 60's to 70's are the best.
I take a lot of heat (heh) from a couple of my friends for my preference for temps in the 60s & 70s. I like to wear those vest jackets, dammit! Give me more than 15 days a year total that I can do that!

Do you wear vest sweaters also?
I have a few. I’ve been known to wear them.

Hey, I’m in my late 50s, I’m not trying to be a style icon, I just don’t like for my pits to get all sweaty and I like having my sleeves free while my torso stays warm, is that a crime? Well, besides a fashion crime, of course. :)

My ideal comfort level is a long-sleeve Dri-Fit shirt under a polo or a tee, and if it’s a bit chilly after that throw on a vest jacket and a cap for my bald head. Just give me enough weather days to rock that look in the spring and the fall and I’ll be very happy.

Still droughtland here in Twin Cities metro. Precip is down 2.7" from normal since Sept 1 and down 7.7" for the year. Treading drier than last year's drought. Not going to break this without a lot of snow and a slow 2023 thaw or a crazy wet fall (not likely). I am soaking in my shrubs and trees right now. A second years running into winter stressed from drought could be a killer if a bad ass winter. Lost one large viburnum last year.
