Weather is weird. I'm on 52nd Street in West Des Moines. Didn't have any hail. Valley West is on 35th and had bad hail.

I assume you're a bit farther south?

My parents are around 50th\ashworth and had a bunch of hail

Read 3+ pages of wishing for rain and complaints about dry everything apparently weather gods are pissy and said you want rain?? FINE. HAVE SOME.

crazy weather

Seems like that's becoming more and more normal. More downpour events, less consistent rain. More runs off.

edit: I see the guy who is allergic to facts swung by with a dumb rating

Oh I agree. If however you are driving through a surprise hailstorm and all of a sudden what's in front of you becomes a problem, then yeah....you are going too fast and it can cause a pileup.

Not unlike the people who drive 75 mph in a blizzard and scratch their heads why they couldn't get stopped for that stuck pickup right in front of them.

In other words those who slow down or stop under these conditions aren't the problem. We all slow down or stop during rush hour or for an accident right? But not a hailstorm or blizzard?

Now toolbox Chris is showing car windows that were shattered driving in the storm. Yeah toolbox Chris.....I'm selfish for not wanting my windshield shattered while I drive.

It's too bad not everyone can get under an overpass during these situations so broken windshields can be avoided. But if you get caught in one of these and can't under a pass......stop. Better a hailstone hits a stationary object than one moving.
You are selfish! Sounds like you were one of the jackwagon's that shut down 235 parked under a bridge 5 wide while the rest of us were stuck behind you at a standstill and getting pelted by the hail without anywhere to go. Glad your windshield is okay *******! Let me guess, you were in the red Tesla with ISU plates parked under the bridge past 22nd St?

Yes, your biased opinion = facts. Alarson, we are in a drier period the past 3 years. It happens and has happened plenty in the past. it doesn’t mean this will be the new normal. Summer time pop up thunderstorms that dump huge amounts of localized rain have happened since forever. That’s also not unusual.

No. This is statistically happening more (example) and scientists have been talking about it a lot for years now. This isn't coming from just me.

Maybe you should pay attention to the actual people with education in this that talk about it (which I have done) instead of constantly complaining on the internet about them trying to educate morons like you.

Do you ever get tired of siding with the same side that constantly make the same old stupid predictions that never come true? What ever happened to Iowa is going to average 50 inches of rain per year?

Ha! Got ‘em.

Shut it down folks, a vague, cherry-picked measurement with an unspecific timeframe didn’t come true they so must be lying about everything else
