Im going to guess Memphis to Tech will get him.

Fine by me. He's by no means a bad player but he's shot under 40% from the field for 3 of 4 years in college.

Watch him go to Tech and look like the second coming after I say that.

Right? Like how many players can one team have? Why would anyone look at there roster and think they can get playing time. They are loaded next season with Freshman and upper classman. They have like 19 players right now I think.

Zero surprise that Texas Tech is after him.

I would have liked to add him, to try to out-Tech them.

Seems like the article headline says that ISU is not one of the 5 schools most focused on him

The portal keeps getting fed. Couple “potential” prospects

Wonder what the scoop is with this guy? Even Kentucky and Kansas offered. 2021 Mr. Basketball in Wisconsin. Can a top 100 recruit really be that mis-ranked or not cut it at Illinois?(only say that because he didn't get playing time at all). But his main recruiter left to coach at UK, so wonder if he follows? Will we be interested?

Going to be more guys in the portal than there are returning on teams pretty soon.
Seems like it for many. Really some high profile guys coming out later than earlier, too. But betcha bottom dollar that they already know where they are going before entering portal, but maybe not? (Just think a guy like Kendric Davis isn't just seeing who's interested for kicks and giggles.)

Speaking of the portal, many have been critical of the eligble right away rule (one-time anyway) , but how much of the increase in transfers is going to happen due to NIL scenarios? Maybe that's a bigger culprit.

I mean maybe for the best of the best, but I would bet the amount of players who make anything close to substantial money from the NIL changes is very low. Guys not having to sit for a year if they transfer undoubtedly is making a larger impact, plus I think the stigma of transferring = bad teammate has mostly gone away.
