Dig a little digging, two different high school recruiting articles he mentions UNI. Almost impossible to not have a Kyle Green connection.

This is my new priority #1. Priority #2 is Grant Basile

Pretty sure Minnesota is locked in on this one. Woodbury native and the Gophers have no returning guards so he's essentially guaranteed 30 minutes per game there. Just a gut feeling, happy to be wrong.

Great freshman year but in what I watched of Illinois this year he was a complete liability with the ball out there. I just didn't see it.
Yeah, maybe he can improve that, but I watched a few of their games this year, and it seemed to alternate between incredible play and mind numbing turnover. Had to drive their fans nuts, particularly with the underperforming year they had.

Podcast idea here. Can you get a national pundit (Or someone with MidWest experience) to talk about where Iowa State is on a national and super regional stage in college basketball.

DO we all have an inflated ego about our Cyclones? Are we being realistic expecting major transfer talent to consider Ames for 2022/23?

From what we know of TJ after year one I can say I don't see this one being a match.

It's not about expecting major transfer talent to come here. It's about knowing the deep connections this staff has to the region (and elsewhere) and connecting the dots between those connections and the transfers becoming available.

He was real close to coming to UNI but UNI filled their last ride that year with Berhow transferring in from Pepperdine.

Kyle was the secondary recruiter (PJ Hogan was the lead) but there is definitely some building blocks to a relationship there. He'd be a super fit. Really versatile and lots of experience playing for a good team in a good program.
