Just can't settle for another Robert Jones type player this offseason.

His value may extend beyond what he offers on the court, as a tone setter. If nothing else, he may have helped establish the effort level that got them to where they are today.

You realize if he came to Iowa State he wouldn't get half those calls?

Idk, but a few of the really good transfer prospects the board has mentioned have already had contact with our coaches, so they seem to be on top of it

It’s not that difficult to get a kid’s phone number and shoot them a text. Or even more likely, a Twitter or Instagram DM

I know a mid major coach. He says if a kid averages over 12 points a game he figures he is going to transfer, If a kid don't get playing time, he figures he will transfer. The roster turn over is basically over 50 percent for any team that is good.

This got me thinking… I wonder if eventually the transfer era will cause a steep decline in mid major upsets in the NCAA tournament. A lot of the time you’d have an experienced mid major with multiple upperclassmen pulling an upset. Those teams aren’t as common these days. Then again, the last few tournaments have shown no evidence of slowing down as far as upsets go..

Just by taking a look at ISU's bench during games and the number of red/white polos that sit on and around it, TJ seems to have plenty of able bodies that can probably be out on the trail right now.

think that offense was designed specifically for this team do to our limitations.

I don't think isu fans appreciate what Jones did. He got us to the dance . His defense and ability to actually move his feet were the difference. Not going to make it without some size. Conditt just doesn't have either skill
