DM area folks, it’s already pretty friggin slick out and that was only with around an inch on the ground. I drove from west of Des Moines to Ankeny and 35-40 was around the max.

Just drove around in the WDM. Roads are drivable without 4WD for another hour or so. It's really coming down and snowplows are not really keeping up. Glad I'm done driving around until the morning
It’s coming down pretty dang good in Des Moines and this isn’t suppose to stop till morning.
Looks like bullseye has settled a bit more North so all of metro should get 10-14.
I'm south of DSM a bit but at around 11 it was a freezing mist. The kind that hits your windshield and the wipers can't take it off. It can't help having that on the bottom.
NWS upped the totals for Des Moines to 10-13. Des Moines is now in the center of it all.
Spam is pretty greasy. Just open a can and rub that old dish down, then fry it up for a Sunday brunch.
Finally, the storm that all of us Des Moiners have been waiting for!
