Louisville is not listed in the NIT bracket. That means they must know that someone isn't playing from the original 68. Maybe KU?
There are 4 teams on NCAA Covid standby. They are one of them.

Here's the think about KU...It is a year where there is no pressure on this KU team and Self. If McCormack can get back and be ready that's what will matter..

As far as Iowa goes...Teams that will play Iowa first couple rounds won't have played Garza and he can wear on you..If teams worry too much about Garza and JB and JW are constantly open Iowa will crush these teams..

Hopefully coachign staffs are smart and realize that in order to beat Iowa you cannot let JW or Jobo get off 3pt shots.

Yes. They are the #1 standby team and not listed in NIT bracket. All the other standbys are NIT #1 seeds.

I haven't followed...would they take over anyone's seed if someone goes out?
Kinda weird but you have to earn your way no matter what I suppose.

Not sure. I've heard if say, Virginia or Kansas, can't play, that's it...their first round opponent just moves on. That's what Norlander just said on Twitter anyway.

Can you be any luckier than Iowa? 2nd round match up if its Oregon then don't start anyone n over like 6'6...LMFAO.

and KU as 3 seed when KU post player is out with Covid to this point.

If Iowa doesnt get to at least Sweet 16 its a huge gigantic failure..
I think Oregon and KU both would beat Iowa. I also think USC would as well.

If Iowa is lucky enough to get VCU in the 2nd round, KU or USC would be a tough matchup.

No idea but that would be crazy to get a high seed off that.

As much as I dislike Self, he's one of the smarter coaches in the game. If he's got McCormack back, he'll have a plan and KU has a chance.

Trying to avoid this going south but if they meet someone with speed in the backcourt they'll struggle.

No. They get replaced by one of the standby teams. Louisville is first on deck.

I think the B1G teams steamroll. There were virtually zero nights off in conference play, and so many dominant big guys. Games were just at a different level in the B1G this season night in and night out.

Ok that is ******* stupid. So they don't get in the normal field, and say KU can't play, Louisville is automatically a 3 seed? F U C K I N G Dumb.
yeah kinda.. But what do you do? You can't reshuffle the whole field. Would have to give a 14 seed a free pass into the 2nd round if you don't replace them.

They didn't make the tourney for a reason. And to not only get in after the fact but as a top four seed is just so ridiculous. It's a one game bye for the original opponent. Not sure why they don't do that. Oh well, it's their deal I just think it's laughably dumb.

there are quite a few potential big upsets that i need to figure out. all of these i can see the lower seed winning.

5 Colorado
12 Georgetown

5 Tennessee
12 Oregon State

4 Oklahoma State
13 Liberty

5 Villanova
12 Winthrop

3 Arkansas
14 Colgate

5 Creighton
12 UCSB

Yes I have all 5/12 listed. For sure I'm picking Winthrop. My gut says Liberty is gonna be a shocker.

It’s a rare year that 1 or 2 12 seeds don’t win. You aren’t going out on much of a ledge ;)
