I dont get the KU love here. I can totally see them getting bounced at any point.

2nd best defense over the past month or so.

Only loss in last ten games was a three point loss in Austin.

Some wins in their last ten games: Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and blew out Baylor.

Getting McCormick back will be key.

I get where you're coming from...through January I had no idea how anyone thought KU was anything special. They could lose early...but I think many are underestimating them and how they're playing right now overall.

I don’t either. They are not good. Probably the weakest guard play in decades.
It's the worst offensive team Self has had since he was coaching Tulsa. That's a legit Kenpom stat.

They struggled with an awful UTEP team.

KU has had several years where they really didn't look that great for about two months and they start clicking around February where they start speeding opponents up. I thought they were starting to do that from what I saw.

Ohhhhh ok. I got it....

So that logic then means you're not having Michigan going far because they got beat by 20 to a horrible Minnesota team.

Better not have Illinois going far either because although they're in the tourney, they only beat Ohio by two.

Okie State lost to TCU. Better not have them going far...

I agree - up until the cancelled UT game, they were playing at their best. Their A-game can be Iowa in the #2-#3 seed matchup. But, will they have Wilson and Mccormick available for tourney, or out for covid?

Can you be any luckier than Iowa? 2nd round match up if its Oregon then don't start anyone n over like 6'6...LMFAO.

and KU as 3 seed when KU post player is out with Covid to this point.

If Iowa doesnt get to at least Sweet 16 its a huge gigantic failure..

there are quite a few potential big upsets that i need to figure out. all of these i can see the lower seed winning.

5 Colorado
12 Georgetown

5 Tennessee
12 Oregon State

4 Oklahoma State
13 Liberty

5 Villanova
12 Winthrop

3 Arkansas
14 Colgate

5 Creighton
12 UCSB

Yes I have all 5/12 listed. For sure I'm picking Winthrop. My gut says Liberty is gonna be a shocker.

For the "classic 12-over-5," if Winthrop were matched with any of the 5 seeds other than Villanova, that'd be my choice. Based on the actual bracket, I'd go with Georgetown over Colorado.

For the 4v13 and 3v14 ... I expect at least one upset. But I'm not sure who I'd choose as most likely. (I'm thinking about it, though :) )

Louisville is not listed in the NIT bracket. That means they must know that someone isn't playing from the original 68. Maybe KU?
