Wasn’t the rumor that he left Memphis because they were over the scholarship limit and was pushed out? Kinda odd if that’s true
Maybe he'll get a shot at Drake or UNI. Not against him coming here, but I don't think the staff will recruit anymore 'forwards' for this upcoming roster, not for just one year.

Totally agreed. He get's to play for his home town his Sr year. Plus now Tyler is going back knowing his role as a great hustle backup I assume. Hard to get recruited over but now he can be happy in that role. Good for him.

If Tyler chose to sacrifice his time at ISU's, Filling TJ's greater need with Warren coming to Ames... now that would be a next level story.

Watched him as a freshman in high school, and he has worked hard to develop. 4 sport star, but don't think he is quick enough for P5 sports. Would make a heckuva tight end though. Got to love that he is a state fan.
I can't decipher this tweet at all. Is the "state for life" referring to NWMSU or ISU? And why would playing for Iowa be putting pride aside?
