Unless UNC gets red hot from 3, I don't see any way they win this game. A&M is dominating them on the boards and not letting them get much inside.

And to get hot from 3, you have to keep shooting from 3. And if you keep missing from 3 and not getting offensive rebounds, that does not lead to success.

The biggest loss for a defending champion in tournament history was Michigan in 1990. They lost to Loyola Marymount 149-115 (34 points).

I can say that this is one of the most entertaining Tourneys I have watched aside from when the 'Clones are in it. A lot of good young coaches and players at all seed levels. Watching these 'blue bloods' get beat makes me all warm and fuzzy (or maybe its the beer). Now if Duke, KU, Meeeshigan and Purdue can all go down...

But really, both of these teams played what were essentially home games today and lost or are in the process of losing.

Only 8 or 9 ESPN "experts" still have their national title winner still alive in the tourney and it's still the first weekend.

Did you see Sir Charles bracket? Woof. I'm not sure he has a Final Four team left after his champion MSU lost.

UNC has won 30 straight tournament games in North Carolina. THIRTY STRAIGHT. And they are getting stomped. This tournament makes no sense. That is why I don't do a bracket any more. It is much more fun to watch.

Michigan State was 8 for 37 from 3 point land is a lot better than 4 for 27 so far for UNC, LOL.
