I’m cheering for Buffalo because they still have the same coach that thanked Cyclone fans for donating when his wife had cancer. Plus, Lindell’s brother played there.

Back under McD and Hoiberg we had strong connections to Nate Oates. I think it ultimately stemmed from TJ being coached by Oates at UW Whitewater. Buckley was from Oates program, as was Clyburn, Charlie Henry, and a grad assistant iirc
