***Official 2018-19 Transfer Thread***

Matt A. isn't wasting any time helping Fred.

@JucoRecruiting 6'2 PG Cam Mack of Salt Lake CC has requested his release from St Johns
RT
@AdamZagoria Was recruited by @mabde33 at @StJohnsBBall. Lots of smoke, no fire yet there.
Cam Mack? Sam's son? Just kidding, I know he is not. Cam is from Texas. Sam actually made it to the NBA for 4-5 years. I believe he may be back living in Chicago now.

always thought the comment from the Ames policeman about San Mack was strange. He said Mack was lucky to get shot in the hind end because The police were taught to shoot to kill. And they almost missed a 6’8” guy? Sounds like time to head back to the range for practice.

APD lucky they didn’t hit someone on Main Street. They have some marksmen, but that night....errrrr!

Cameron Lard, 6-9, 225, PF, Soph., Iowa State
Stats: 5.6 ppg, 2.8 rpg
Quick Scout: “Athletic, can really run and can change shots. Good motor. Has to continue to develop his offensive skill set
around the basket, but has a good feel as a passer.”
Schools: N/A

Other than the Drake mention, any news on who is interested in Cam?

So there are zero schools reported to have interest in Cam at this point?

Can’t imagine there’s a lot of teams lining up for a sit 1 play 1 with a multitude of past issues. If he can get a waiver and be immediately eligible, i could see his stock rise

I think there would be some suitors if he's interested in returning to college. I do wonder if he's academically able to stay eligible though. No clue, if he's still in Ames taking classes, etc.

Here is a 100% guess that I think would make sense. Cam goes to Tulane with Ron Hunter. The location and coach would be a good match

I kind of always thought it was going to work in Ames for Cam, with a staff that had done literally everything one could for him, or it was probably not going to work.
