NBA: *** Official 2015 NBA Playoffs Thread ***

It was painfully obvious Cleveland was going to come out flat to start this game having over a week off and missing two key players.

Are we talking in comparison to Bulls fans? Because lets not act like they are all that much better, we're just later in the game. Jordan created the largest bandwagon maybe in sports history.

I was a Chicago resident who once paid actual money to see psychopath Eddie Curry feign playing basketball. Anybody who stuck through those years is probably good, plus the bulls were the closest team for all Iowans in the 70s and 80s and still are for most. There are band wagoners, but an Iowan Bulls fan is much less likely than an Iowan ClevMiamiClev fan.

Cleveland fans in boo-all-plays mode now haha. Maybe Noah is right about them.

Sure... but how may Timberwolves fans are there compared to Bulls fans? Everyone at least kind of likes the Bulls because of Jordan, and I'd say a large large majority of Bulls fans are that way because of Jordan.

Not that there's anything wrong with it, just saying.

If you rooted for the Bulls before Jordan...obviously you're beyond reproach in this conversation.

But that's the point. The Bulls went from not very popular at all to being a top 2 most popular team in the league along with the Lakers.

Bulls will absolutely win this series if they keep jumpshooting like this. Dear lord.

And right as I say that here comes Irving....

In general the biggest difference is a generation and Jordan, bird and magic all played out their career primes at one place so their fans didn't have to buy new tshirts. Everybody in early 30s/40s is bulls, 40s/50s is celts/lakers, now millennialis are Cleveland Heat fans.

Sure.

I'm just saying those in glass houses.....

You can't legally defend better than Butler did on that Irving basket and he still got it.

Butler is great on the perimeter but he can't hang in the post with LeBron. Cavs need to go back to that over and over.
