Nile Sykes (DE) is set to visit soon according to Rivals. Would be another great get from the Chicago area. Maybe we can get him and Mister to sign on.

Are we seeing an increase in Chicago recruiting? I don't recall this many targets from that area before.
We need Allen Lazard working on these recruits that are visiting for the spring game.
According to CR there are three recruits from around Chicago visiting. One is Sykes. Is Mister visiting too? Holmes is visiting from Houston. Who else?

I was just thinking the exact same thing. It is nice to see an increase in recruits from Illinois with ISU on their mind.
Does anyone know if we offered Lamar Dawson, Tommy Mister's teammate from St. Rita? I checked his rivals and there is no offer from ISU. Also, over twitter they are talking about them being a package deal.
I was noticing this guy: Zach Vaughan - Yahoo! Sports who seems to have the frame the staff says they're looking for.
Tough to grab a Texas guy from Texas teams. Hope we can pull it off. If there was a position I would take unlimited talent at, it's DL.
I wouldn't disagree but I'd love it on both sides of the line, its amazing how a good OL can make a whole team better by opening holes for the runners and giving the QB time. Same can be said about the DL too...winning games starts in the trenches
The longer he waits to commit to ISU, the harder it's going to be to get him here (what I gathered from his latest update). Lots of schools are getting in on him now.

even if he would have commited during his visit, would be hard to keep him with new offers coming in from bigger programs. as far as i know, we are still in the lead though
DE Desmond Branch - Yahoo! Sports from Rio Rancho, NM is on cyclonereport.com now!! Sweet!!! We have to offer this kid!! He is only a 2 star, but he is a beast! NM kids always get screwed when it comes to rankings, but that means less attention. Could be a good thing if we do offer this kid. Have seen him play a couple times, and he is really really good! If I'm not mistaken, he is the brother of Allan Branch, who played at Michigan and was with the Arizona Cardinals last I knew.
He has a set date he's committing on. I think it's fifty-some odd days away. I bet we land this kid.
