If they bring back the vets along w Leonard, green, mills and splitter they have to be. I'm not sure what they're supposed to look like.

I think they would be if they played in the East, but since Miami basically has a spot in the finals reserved, they get the odds.

Except they play in the West, and have a much harder road to get to the Finals. If the Spurs were in the East, they would be favored.

Indy could possibly regroup, if chicago finally can sign a top free agent w all their room they could be decent w or without rose. Beyond that...ugh.

They pretty much have everyone signed for next season, except Diaw and Mills, and I fully expect both to be back. Again, if the Spurs were in the East, they would be favored.

I dont see it happening. They have rolled the past 4 years, and have had a horrible three game stretch against a great Spurs team. If they leave, there are not green pastures for any of them, and they know it. I could see Wade hanging it up, but even that I doubt. I would put money on the "big three" being back, and would put a lot of money on Lebron and Bosh for sure being back.

James is great, but Wade's knees of an 85 year old aren't going to miracously get better and Bosh is showing more and more to be an average player. The only difference between this Heat team and Lebron's Cleveland teams are that James is a substantially more polished and better player now.

How so? People are so fast to take these last three games and think its a trend that will continue for the Heat, while totally ignoring their last 400 games prior to that. The Heat are a great team, and this type of series probably wont happen again.

I feel like I need to go shower now for defending the Heat.
