Congrats to KC.
Hope the NLCS doesn't drag on in a long series. So far KC's run is just like run my Rockies had in 07. Rockies were on a roll to end season won a one game playoff with SD, then swept Philly and Arizona. The AL series between cle and boston went 7 games and Rockies had nearly a week off, and were unable to recapture their mojo.

Been a Royals fan since I was born in April of 86 (6 months after their last playoff appearance and WS title). I've been to hundreds of games, watch 130+ games a year, and have spent countless amounts of dollars. Being at ALCS game 3 last night and then watching them win the AL today was a dream come true.

Would have been so much sweeter if Peralta hadn't cleared the bases with that friggin' double play grounder. Solo homers aren't going to be enough in San Francisco.
The pen has been sketchy, I agree. I don't think 4 runs will win this. Would be nice if Wacha could return to form for a long reliever.

Seriously though, I've been a fan since first grade when I went to my first KC Royals game, plus all the Omaha Royals games I went to as a kid. There were very tough years in there, but....holy ****...World Series. Wow!
