***Offical Iowa State vs Iowa PostGame Thread***

Not sure if posted, but this was enjoyable

You know what I love about that? Listen to Fran talk about "holding accountable" and "go after some guys individually".

Watch this and compare and contrast. Especially Doc's comment around the 5:30 mark

"And when those things don't happen, he doesn't look at them - he looks at himself" 6:27

I don't think Fred has gotten enough credit. I think he should have gotten more votes for B12/national coach of the year. This year he loses a top assistant, loses 2 all-americans, and suspends his best all around player and still dominates a decent team on their own floor. I think we have a very good chance to make a deep run in the tournament this year. We just need to avoid the pitfalls like grades, injuries, and suspensions.

Someone needs to tell the self-proclaimed one of the best players in the country to look up when he speaks so he can be heard.

Did any of their other players talk to the press?

I'm surprised he didn't say "I should have ran at the basket uncontrollably more often to draw more fouls"
Is he talking about his skill set, coaching, or his gf getting nailed as "same crap"?

How many 5s have a handle like Niang? He made some unbelievable passes for a post player. Plus he is such a weapon against the press.

Way behind on the replay.... right in the middle of the run.

Fred is so cool on the sidelines.. Do you think he's ever like ... "this is too damn easy"?

No.

He knows KU, UT, and, if we're really that lucky, UK and plenty others are going to be in the way if we want to get to where we want to be.

He knows torching Iowa is fun, but we've got a lot to work on. This isn't our level. We want more.
