NYE OT: Out With the Old

Hello! I was AWOL last Friday, so I didn't get to post this then.

It's sort of a CF tradition to have a thread about your new year's resolutions:

2019 2018 2017 2016 2015 2014 2013

So - what are your resolutions for the new year and decade?

I'd really, really like to get this swearing **** under control at some point...

**** that ****.

Also, not get Kidney stones. Was expensive because they MRI you and then you are just sitting there, you start sweating, throw up, and get nasty pain for about 5 minutes while you are drenched in sweat. Not a fun experience. **** you iced tea.

I badly need to lose weight. Probably going to take the first few weeks of the new year to come up with a game plan and go for it.

Increase my general wellness. Going to get into a habit of waking up earlier, exercising daily whether that is lifting weights or doing some cardio, and eating and drinking cleaner.

I'm 26 and figure now is a good time to start practicing good habits.

1. I want to loose weight. I recently joined a crossfit gym for the first time last month. Enjoying it a lot.
2. Eat more fruit and veggies.
3. Wife and I want to save enough money to buy a house by the end of the year.
4. I want to purchase 3 investment properties in 2019 and achieve $1,000 monthly cashflow from them.

Downsize the Iowa lodging situation. Don't need a 3 BR with full basement.

Even though I spent most of 2019 sifting through a lifetime of accumulation (and getting rid of a surprising amount of 'stuff') there's still some fat to trim. Will be a challenge finding a smaller place in the area I'm looking that also has at least an oversized 2 car garage.

Scan a lifetime of photos. That will actually eliminate a full tote or two of crap I have.

Have had them twice myself..... worst pain ever! When I had the last one busted up, they said I had another forming on the other side. I am just waiting for the day it hits. However, I have heard that riding on rough roller coasters can have the same effect as the sonic procedure they did to me to break up the last one. I am not sure if there is anything to that, but I always make sure to ride the tornado a couple of time when we go to adventureland. My urologist also suggested drinking lemonade regularly to help. Sounds like good preventative care to me!

I've got some weird viral thing that includes a scorching throat, both ears infected, and a fever that I've 'broken' about 3 times now. Got some meds but slow going so far, so first order of business is to get through that.

Then it's back to my dietary habits that were going well and exercise.

Not a NYR but it lines up--probably need to head to PT and figure out what I can do to get back to running...can't shake slight calf pain.

Sweet, I quit iced tea and went to lemonade. Stopping pop kinda limits beverage choice. I don’t drink alcohol hardly at all also.

i do too. Think I have a fail proof plan though. Noticing all the smokers are skinny. Think I’m going to restart and shed a few pounds. What can go wrong?

New addition to the KnappShack family and I really need to cut back on the swearing and colorful language before he starts to repeat it.

Also need to fight back against this midwest lifestyle and get back below 2 bills. Tough with my current diet and 6 months of winter around here.

But I'll give it the ol' college try
