NWC To Commit Friday

Someone should e-mail JP and let him know that Fred might be over recruiting.

Mred I disagree...isu won't be on the hook because we can't offer a scholarship today or have him sign anything. Hence the whole scholly limit policy by NCAA.

All he would be doing is a verbal commit. In the 1% chance we have everyone back and no one leaves he just signs with another school at a later date.

True. If he signs with ISU it isn't because we think somebody might leave. It's because Fred knows somebody is leaving.

It's not going to be a "let the chips fall where they may" type of signing.

I really don't think the scholarship comes from Royce.

Me either... for some reason i think the scholarship may come from Railey

If he signs this fall, he is not a verbal commit.

Early signing date is coming up this fall. He would be signed before the spring, hence the problem.

I have a gut feeling he is going to commit to Mizzou and be a thorn in our sides on the court for years to come. I hope I am wrong on both accounts...

Thanks "Coach Hoiberg" for "confirming" that we have no possibility of an open spot in our roster starting in Fall 2012.

No problem. I just wanted to let all the fanatics know that I will not cut Jordan Railey for NWC. Sorry clone fans he told me he was going to mizzou

I doubt NWC commits to ISU. Just eyeing his twitter account he seems to tweet more pro mizzou stuff in comparison to ISU. Just my gut feeling. In saying that, I would welcome NWC and think he would be a great addition!

Same. Is SDW better than NWC? Which one would you rather have?

Apples and oranges. I think SDW will be more of a solid shooter/scorer and NWC will be a more aggressive attacker. A balanced team needs both. With that being said, I take SDW because he is already committed to us. I think NWC will be scary good, though.

SDW is a better compliment to Okoro and Sledge, but NWC is going to be a damn good player as well.

If he commits that is probably bad news. Not because he is a bad player but because I'm guessing it will tell us a little about Royce or somebody else.

I think we basically stopped recruiting him after the SDW commit, we will only sign three this fall, IMO.
