North Texas

Wow how pathetic in the bottom of the Big Ten his year with Indiana, Purdue and Minnesota? Of course Iowa has all three on its schedule and dodges Wisconsin, OSU and Illinois.

Which only ensures that after they beat the hell out of 2 of those 3 glorified JUCO teams, their fans will be yapping about how if they were to play ISU at the end of the season, they'd kill us. You know, because Iowa "gets better as the season goes on."

When in reality, it's that their competition gets worse as the season goes on and ISU has to play the tougher schedule year in and year out.

Indeed, though in 2002 i might give that to them, with how badly the wheels fell off that season, i'm pretty confident that if we played them at the end of the season, we wouldve lost.

Guess they wish they could recruit Florida, California, and Texas better. The rust bucket recruiting is not going so hot. Pennsylvania Ohio and Michigan have some players, maybe not enough.

I guess equal tier-3 revenue sharing doesn't cure all ills. I wonder if some of those teams are starting to realize that adding NU pushed them further down the recruiting ladder, and closer to permanent bottom feeder status.

Meh, this is all cyclical. There were some years there where we were dragging down the Big XII pretty hard too. We were a pretty mediocre conference just last year.

We'll see how things play out, but Michigan and OSU won't be down forever. And Wisconsin has put together a consistent top program. Although, as some posted above, adding Nebraska, imo only watered down their recruiting grounds.

Fennelly was there and tweets "North Texas 24 Indiana 21!!! Coach Mac gets his first win at North Texas!!

Even better, it was a B1G team.

loved it even more because that was my 5th win on a 5 team parlay on the weekend... thanks Mac.. however he almost pulled the 2nd half stall, and lose job again... thankfully they held on. North Texas had 241 yards in the 1st quarter, just handled Indiana... The bottom of the Big10 is far worse then the bottom of the Big12... Minn, Indiana, and Purdue are worse then a lot of teams UNI is playing... One of our worst teams, if not the worst team in the league just beat Miami at Miami... O yeah ISU and KState shouldnt be in a major conference, please.
