I'm glad Jack S. is looking good/better (according to coach). If he's more aggressive and faster this year, that will be a huge plus!

I know this league pretty well and I’d say Illinois State will give Iowa a closer game then North Dakota will give the Cyclones. North Dakota has a respectable defense and early might cause the Clones some trouble but once they get settled in they’ll cruise to an easy win. Their offense is very vanilla.

The latter is not an accurate quote. What I heard him saw is that Brezina is on of the best freshmen he’s had since they’ve been here.

Knowing Matt, that was likely very intentional. Give them some love.
I watch a lot of MVFC football and got to see UND play a lot last year. They were not the same team on the road as they were at home. Still a decent team but not as good outside of Grand Forks with the exception of beating NDSU in Fargo. Which was before NDSU figured things out later in the season.
Also UNDs OC from last year left to go to SDSU. So don't know how different they will look.
I think I saw some shirts and sweatshirts with that logo in the bookstore after I dropped my kid off for fall. Lots of good vintage stuff is available although I really dislike the swirly bird stuff. Kids seem to like it though and they can have my old swirly bird clothes!
I was there just before school started and they had this band logo (and others) in the bookstore. Thought it was cool. I think it would be great if he wore it on the sidelines for the Iowa game.
