They've barely played anyone. They don't have much length at all. They do play pretty slow, so it will be important to make sure the tempo is at Iowa State pace.
Yes their win streak is impressive but they played no one. They are not a big team and that bodes well for us. Niang should have 30 and 15 in this game, period. Ingram is good and I expect us to take him out of the game. If we don't win this game handily well….
As for UNC in rd 2 I"m not sure UNC gets past Providence. UNC has played very well at times and those times have been at home. On the road UNC has look not that great. Still a tough match up assuming they beat Prov.

They've won 20 in a row, beat NC State at NC State. Losses to Witchita St, Maryland, IUPUI and one more.
I was wondering the same thing. I thought normally it is sometime the following Monday (tomorrow). Anyone know for sure? Want to make sure my weekend plans don't overlap the game(s)
It's usually late tonight, and often around 9 or 10 pm, when CBS and the other networks slot all the games.
Yes they beat NC state..the 4th game of the year when NC state was playing terrible and NC Central it was their super bowl as an instate rival.
I think Georges should be able to get in there good. They don't have much length so that should help. Maybe Naz can sneak in a couple of 3s too. My prediction is that we might take a little scare at the start, but we'll go into half time with the lead and pull away in the second half.
I'm guessing either one will be stronger and more physical than what he is used to.
