It’s like a thread I ran across on a forum elsewhere. The title was “Needless To Say, I’m Excited!” Well, if you didn’t need to say it, then why bother doing so?

Sucks we lost him, but as Campbell says next man up.

Credit is due to @cyclone4L though. Guy was big on this guy before the wave of P5 offers came in. Even when quite a few were comparing him to a Rhoads Era recruit.

At the risk of sounding like sour grapes, I’ll be honest. I liked him, but that was mostly for his length and positional versatility.

The biggest attribute I saw on his film was that he was a ball magnet. He didn’t do anything special for most of those eight interceptions, the ball just seemed to bounce or lame-duck right to him. I liked Michal Antoine in the last class much better.

I didn’t say anything sooner about my reservations because I don’t like to say anything negative about our recruits—and there were plenty of people being negative before those extra offers anyway.
