I think his 6.5 rebounds per game is very respectable, considering where he used to be and that he is doing it next to McKay.

Nice article! Georges has really been playing like an AA recently,

He definitely has been playing like an AA, and so much improvement from a year ago. You often see a significant jump from Jr. to Sr. year. He just seems to be ahead of the game much more and is playing so efficiently. Looks like the game has "slowed down" for him.

What I've been most surprised by has been his increased speed/quickness. He's never going to break speed records but on some of the fast breaks, I've had to do a double take on how much ground he's covered getting to the hoop. He's moving his feet a lot better and is even blocking some shots. I really hope Monte plays his Sr. year as I think he'll make a significant jump to a higher level as well.

He hasn't really had a period where he's just constantly jacking up threes like he has in the last. He's shooting them more selectively and is driving more to the basket, it seems, which he's so good at and can do at will to almost any player in the country.

I misted up in Melvin's last home game. And I mean this as no offense to Ejim, as I loved him, but Georges is on a different level for me. It'll be hard to hold back I think.

The only thing I saw after UNI was that if he didn't fall on his ***, it could have been different. Which isn't false. But I didn't see anyone actually blaming the loss on him.
