Niang NBA chances

Been a doubter of his NBA abilities, but I hope he can find his niche somewhere.

Obviously but I'd still chase the money until it stopped being lucrative.

Absolutely, even if you're in the D-League you're in the top .1% of basketball players in the world. Just takes one lucky break to get a shot. There are so many guys in the D-League, and overseas, that just need the right situation to suceed in the NBA. He should chase that dream as long as possible, coaching or whatever else he wants to do will always be there when that's over.

The Spurs would make sense. He's very similar offensively/crafty like Boris Diaw and if there is one coach that would make him eat, drink, and sleep defense it would be Pop. Who knows? Maybe it could work.

NBA or Euro...D-League doesn't pay squat. Better off moving on in life than going D-League unless you're Royce talent without the Royce head.

The Spurs draft well. Let's be honest, chubby Boris Diaw isn't exactly the most athletic guy. He can find a spot if it's the right fit.

D-League is still the best way to get into the NBA, just one injury away from getting a ten day deal if some team likes what they see. Niang could play in Europe for years, that's not going anywhere.

Boris Diaw is much more athletic than you're giving him credit for.

There's a story about Diaw maxing out the Suns vertical leap measuring system in sandals, without warming up. He's overweight, but he was superathletic coming into the league and is still an athletic chubby guy now.
