NFL playoffs

I know it's easy to lay the blame at the feet of Allen, especially when he hasn't looked good today, but the Bills D giving up 8 yards a pop on the ground isn't going to give the offense a chance to get back into the game.

Bills defense has been beyond bad today. Cincy is just dominating this game.

Some thought the Hamlin thing would motivate the team, but I think it’s had almost the opposite affect…. has put a TON of pressure on the Bills to win it for him.

I agree that he's a top 10 quarterback, but is there a separation between him and Mahomes/Burrow? With Allen, as high as his highs have been, there have been some holes in his game this year. And the rumblings have already begun. Does he turn the ball over too much? Why does he seem to have problems in the red zone. Can he win the big game?
Mahomes **** his pants in the Super Bowl against the Bucs, not elite?

But is Cousins elite?

Also, Bills D can't get off the field on 3rd and long

Mahomes has played at an elite or MVP level for half a decade now. Has multiple super bowl appearances, AFC champ game appearances and a Super Bowl.
What has JA done? A couple divisional round losses??

So he has one Superbowl that he played well and one that he played terrible, not elite?

Point is basing any of it off one game like Janny implied was happening is stupid. Allen had a ridiculous playoffs last year and was potentially a coin flip away from the super bowl.

Mahomes has won 1 Super Bowl out of 2 made, and has led the Chiefs to 5 straight AFC title games. He's clearly established himself as an elite quarterback. Compare Allen's resume. If the come back against the Bengals, he'll have made 3 AFC title games, which is a lot better than 2, when you stack it up next to Mahomes.

There’s a huge separation between Mahomes and everybody else. Burrow is next, but I don’t think he’s close to Mahomes.

That’s great that Burrow wins. There’s a lot to that. But their defense has stepped up and made huge plays.

Joe Burrow 5 playoff starts coming in to today:
5 starts, 6 TDs, 2 Int, 263 yards/game, 69% CP

Kirk Cousins
4 playoff starts, 5 TD, 1 Int, 253 yds/game, 69% CP
Did not include his one game he closed out in garbage time for RG3.

And Allen does some amazing things and is good, but he’s a turnover machine. That Bills roster is going to start changing when his and Diggs cap hit goes way up next year and beyond.

The idea there is some debate between Mahomes and Allen is laughable. I’m so sick of the Chiefs, but Mahomes has no peer.

So if you're not Mahomes level you're not elite? Allen loses to Cinci and he's not elite, Mahomes doesn't show up against TB, still elite. It's hard to nail down what the criteria is for eliteness.

Allen has only been in 1 AFC championship game so far, the loss last year in KC was in the divisional round.

Someone explain to me going for it there when they need a fg.
You can get a field goal from further out, but you only have so many opportunities to get a touchdown, so you might want to go for it when you're in the redzone.
