Word on the street from an inside source is that Jantz will start and Barnett could be his back up. We might see Tiller as a wide out.

Capello is good passer but apparently Barnett is better. Tiller is to good of an athlete to not be used in other ways.
This is how the coaches think and hope it will play out.
I heard it from a man who is friends with one of ISU's coaches

The "word on the street" means absolutely nothing at this point.

How many practices has Jantz had? How well did each QB play in the Spring Game? Oh, right, it's December.

I would love to see Tiller at WR if he doesn't win the job. He could be a wildcat QB in certain situations and add WR depth.

This is completely premature but that's life on a message board. I hope Jantz is that good. If he is we have a shot to be pretty solid next year.

Name your source. If it's this set in stone, then your source would come forward with it if they are connected to the team.

While I see this as being totally possible, nothing is going to be set before spring workouts. Even then it will likely not be entirely settled until the UNI and Iowa games.

Tiller will take the first snap at QB in spring practice. After that, everything is up in the air. I hope he sees the field at WR if he doesn't win the QB competition.

For one word on the street and inside source are contradictory terms. Second, how about we get these people on campus and through sprIng ball before we start another Bo Williams type thread. I agree it's doubtful you call on a juco qb unless you plan on using him. Before we annoint him though, let's see what he's got. I really doubt any coach at this stage would really be able to make that statement before the kid is even on campus. Oh yeah and please before you bash my spelling, just in case, I'm stuck just outside Williamsburg typing on my ipod.

Inside source? they haven't even practiced since the Missouri game

There will be a big time battle for the starting spot come spring practice and 2 adays.

Tough for me to believe that the coaches have made a solid decision on this when the guy hasn't even stepped on an ISU practice field with the other offensive players.
