Next CF Bracket Fast food nomination thread

This was always something I thought about and we will have a pizza bracket down the line too.

I lean towards keeping sub places and eliminating pizza places for this bracket but would love public input.

Maybe make poll whether pizza qualifies and public vote will stand.
IMO there are only two pizza chains that fall into fast food. Because they don't have any place to sit down in their locations, and you can walk in and buy pizzas and not wait at all. Walk in, walk out with food in 10 seconds.

Little Ceasar's
Jet's Pizza

No other chain should fall into that category IMO. But I might be in the minority ha.

I’d add Sbarro to that.

Do they still have those Pizza Hut/Taco Bell drive ups; Where you could order personal pans?

I think pizza places are their own category, definitely not fast food.

I also think criteria should require at least 1 location in Iowa, but I'm sure I'm in the minority on that. Why include places that many here haven't even been to?

Taste of New York has premade pizzas that you order by the slice and it only takes a couple minutes to heat up. The Waukee location has a drive-thru.

Broaden your horizons, man. CF is worldwide. People venture outside of the Iowa borders sometimes. Some of them don't even live here.

You keep saying that, but the one time you took us in Orlando...
It was admittedly a weak experience, but every other I've had it has been top notch

I think a pizza place is only fast food if they sell by the slice and have a slice tray sitting at the counter.

If you sit down and order it’s not fast food.
That could get tough too because I have seen some pizzas available in gas stations, being sold from a heating rack. There's a gas station near me that sells Godfather's personal pizzas ready to go. Little Caesars has the hot-n-ready pizzas. There are Taco Bell's that sell personal pizzas from Pizza Hut. Etc.

@CycloneRulzzz suggested a separate tournament for pizza. I think that's a good idea.

If you’re considering throwing out a place like 5 guys, I’d say almost all pizza places need to go. Except for maybe Sbarro type places.
