I actually like the helmet. Some of you will hate anything...

Unfortunately it sounds like they will keep this logo going forward. I'm not a huge fan, as there have been a lot of better ideas posted on here. 
Why do they continue to put cardinal logos on a cardinal helmet?!

People want to go back to the "good old days" uniforms, when in reality the "good old days" were full of losses and sucked. They can look as stupid as they want, just win.
Just got an email from UBS advertising gear with the "new logo". It's definitely here to stay.

It wouldn't be my choice, but it's something different and that seems to be the goal in college now. As I've always said with most of the alternate uniforms around the country, they aren't my thing and I find very few to be that cool.
I'm not the one wearing the gear though, so if the kids like it, that's all that matters to me. If the players think, "OMG, why are they making us wear this?" then it's an issue. If they players are hyped up about it and excited to put the helmet on, then so be it.
too many people on here have in their own heads what they want to see. Most of the time that means, unless they see exactly what they were expecting, they aren't going to like it.
Against the grain here... i really like it. Not sure why...
I feel like I might change my mind when I see it out on the field, but my initial reaction is "meh"
Some of you complain about Cyclone logos the way Nebraskans complain about license plates. Give it a chance to see how it looks. Remember how everyone trashed the "I-State" logo because it effectively meant taking Cy off the helmet? Where are we now...?

If this is the helmet logo going forward for all games, thats dumb. If its just an alternate helmet/design mixed in with what we currently have, Im all for it.
I like it too. Nice and simple, and will not be confused with anyone else's logo. Of course I like the KU logo, except for the fact that it is KU's
That helmet logo made me throw up a little bit.
Oh weird, the internet is complaining about something inconsequential.
While I'm not a huge fan of it yet I think it could look better on a White or black helmet..keep in mind this is a secondary logo..with I State being primary and Walking Cy is still an alternate as well.
People see that logo on helmet and they will think Cyclones..it is our nickname after all..
