*New Uniform Thread*

Our white on white road uniforms have always been my favorite. Adding that white helmet makes it even better.

An interesting branding idea would be for us to use those at home as well. We'd be one of, if not the only team (I can't think of any others) to wear all white at home. That's probably not the type of thing that excites recruits though.

The collar triangle looks dumb (I noticed the OK St one he tweeted also had more little collar details) and makes a busy front even busier, but otherwise that would be sharp!

given that we wore game unis at the spring game, current and past players talking about it, and I just know so wait and see.

while I like seeing the new alt uniforms (that are reposted from twitter), we can put the speculation to rest. THere will be new uniforms this year w/ out a doubt. So now we wait.

If we do get new jerseys, they better not be half assed. There's no reason to rush new jerseys out there just to do it. They need to be sharp.

I like those white/white/white jerseys. Not much of a difference from what we currently wear. I like the smaller Iowa State across the chest. It's not our away jerseys that need help unfortunately. Our current three road jerseys are nice.

For the record, I like the Trice-stripes better than the chevron (idea from Kagavi). I I do like the chevron idea however.

For the record, I like the Trice-stripes better than the chevron (idea from Kagavi). I just don't think we will get the Trice-stripes, I could be wrong. I do like the chevron idea however (if we can't have the stripes). Check this out, the angle of the chevron is too steep I think, but a simple change like this makes this design a bit different, better or worse, you decide.

I mentioned to the AD how many of you said the stenciled I-Sate logo looked better, on the HELMET. You decide. I think it does. I also asked him not to be 'closed' to the idea of flipping the color of the block "I" to yellow, on the red helmet only. I think it looks much better, makes the "I" stand out, and balances the red. He thinks it's a change of the I-State logo; I disagree to a point. It's just a color change depending upon application. The "I-State" branding won't change. OSU does it w/ their "OSU" logo, note the 3 different colors of "OSU" on their helmet, depending upon color application. It's still the OSU logo.

I love the cardinal helmet with the gold logo. Would love to see a whole scheme with just Cardinal and Gold.

At this point, I'd just be happy with adding a white and yellow helmet to the mix. It would instantly give us so many more combos to choose from.

I still would like to see some stripes down the middle of our helmet as well to distinguish ourselves a bit from USC some more too, plus I like that look better anyway.

pretty much this. we'd have 27 combos to choose from.

As soon as there was a decision to use white pants on the road instead of the cardinal (**sigh**), white helmet should've been automatic along with it.

While it would be pretty easy to add a helmet, I thought Campbell had already said there wouldn't be new jerseys this year because Nike works a full season ahead. Was he just messing with us?

Whatever they do this year, I think they could go a long way by giving us these 'stenciled' helmets, gloss finish (NOT matte) red, yellow, white (with helmet stripes). AND the Yellow block "I" of I-State, on red. Just my opinion, but would look sharp!
