Girls do and it looks hella nice, I would be down with grey jerseys for the football team. It could be our storm cloud uniforms or something.

I'm pretty sure the guys also had them, but didn't use them.

You know, if we're really going to do the Jack Trice concept, i really like this:

Not sure if a yellow top is a good idea but a yellow lid (like WVUs) would look awesome on any of those combinations.

What about the 5 trice stripes on the front of the helmet above the face mask instead of the overhead stripe. I'd like that along with the trice stripes on the sleeves.

Another idea with Grey uni's would be to ignore the logo and just put a photo-realistic F5 tornado on the helmet side. Top of Helmet dark almost black and then lighter grey in the background of the tornado.

Further, you're right - we should continue using, and even revert even further back to, the 1980s look which not only today's kids couldn't care less about, but represents one of the worst eras of ISU football, if not ISU athletics as a whole.

I love plenty of new concepts and alternatives besides throwbacks. Adding gray and black just doesn't seem very creative to me. You should celebrate your school colors; not accentuate the opposite.

Army's camo unis are one of my favs. I love the metallic & chrome helmets. Gloves with the logo on the palms are cool.

I want matte white helmets! White-white-white would be a great away look for ISU.
