Absolutely agree with this, especially since ISU's visual identity system cautions on the use of black.

Any graphic designers good at coming up with a gray concept? I'll give it a shot but I'm no good. Give me about 20 minutes.

That's outdated because it has the old logos (the current primary has spacing between the S T A T E lettering, and the current secondary is the Cy head in a circular logo instead of the whirly bird). But still, different colors and no cautioning against black.
I understand that - but it doesn't mention what to do with black (I looked at it prior to posting). I would assume the AD has to defer to the wishes of the university.
I really wish we could get a new secondary logo. that bird in a blender makes me cringe everytime i see it.

Girls do and it looks hella nice, I would be down with grey jerseys for the football team. It could be our storm cloud uniforms or something.
