New rankings

Road wins over tOSU and Wisconsin, won the last five. They are a little high IMO, but not like they have done nothing.
Plus they gave Iowa a major beat down and somehow the hoks are still sitting at 25 despite having a 5-5 B1G record.

Wisconsin....some of the ugliest basketball a person can watch. I liked that they beat Michigan, but....and 3-5 tOSU?

Purdue avenged the shellacking they got by MSU earlier at home, and they also gave up 44 points to MSU in the 2nd half. They are good, but 27 to 16?
Winning at tOSU is better than losing at Baylor. They also beat Maryland on the road. 7-2 in the B1G with losses @MSU and @Michigan, who are both top 6.

I’m not saying Texas Tech is a bad team, but we have a way more impressive resume than the Red Raiders. When the AP poll puts a team with one top 25 win over a team with two top ten wins (and a top 25 road win that was a 14 point beat down), it makes me see they’re pretty dumb. I think it would make more sense to have ISU and TT switch spots in the rankings.

Luke DeCock having unranked Oklahoma at 16. I sometimes wonder if these writers get schools confused in other conferences.
Brant Wilkerson has unranked Washington at 16 and effin unranked Wofford at 21.

If my name was Luke DeCock my sole goal in life would to be the least controversial person ever just so nobody noticed my name.

Did he recently leave the porn industry and pick up a career in sports writing?

My sole purpose would to be an adult entertainer if that was my name

I like how this ranking does all 353 D1 basketball teams. The lowest ranked power 5 school is Cal 269th (Next closest power 5 school is WSU at 207).
It's still kind of mind blowing that we had a recruit de-committed from us to join this stellar program.

Jesse has voted for ISU almost every week and has never voted for Iowa this season. I like him.

Newell also is the only voter to have Nebraska in the top 25 (#20, no less). And a bunch of other extreme picks (Purdue in top 10, Wisconsin 13th, Auburn still ranked.)

As much as I've liked him seeming ahead of the curve for ISU this season, I'm treading lightly.
