It is the new white helmets; they are bringing in the kids. In all seriousness, I think that the coach staff is able to get the word out on social media and other news outlets that are letting people know that ISU is changing and changing for the better.

Regardless of where he plays he should make an impact. The secondary are going to be the teams strongest group. We will lose a few players in the secondary after this season but i think we are prepared for that now. I still expect a freshmen or two to standout in the secondary as well.

Ames to Minneapolis is a short drive, I wonder if that had anything to do with his decision.

Maybe, my guess is though CMC told him,"Hey come to Ames, we play in a pass heavy fast offensive league. You'll get to hit a lot of people and we plan on playing a lot of DBs."

I just think they sold him on the type of defense they will play and who they will play. He could/ve gone to Minnesota if he wanted his brother close by.

It would be cool to see if his twin brother comes to a game like family weekend.

I can't see the FR making much of an impact, if any, in the defensive backfield this year. They have too many guys returning (Tribune, Wiltz, Peavy, Cotton-Moya, Jones, Johnson) as well as, the JUCO guys (Payne, Daniels) that they've brought in.

In a perfect world the DB FR that are coming in this year will RS and get one year to get into D1 football shape, acclimate to the college academics and life, then see what happens next year.
