According to his hudl he is 6'6" 287 and his rivals only says 260. If that was all good weight he could be a different players than a year ago.

Not concerned either. Supposedly Kleinow had a possible offer from Rhoads after his sophomore year. Then the injury and Rhoads dismissal. He is healthy now and they worked him out and liked what they saw. Have heard that he was impressive at some other camps as well. Big kid. Keeps impressing at camps and plays well this fall and his recruitment would blow up.
There is also something to be said about an instate lineman that I like especially when they really want to be here. I have always felt like one of the biggest things for O line development is having the right attitude and work ethic. maybe it is just me but seems like Lineman on both sides of the ball are made in the weight room as much as they are in practice. Sure some of the gifted athletic guys might be better, but I am more concerned with having our line get better as a whole meaning not just the top 5-6 lineman but bringing the floor on the position up. Fett is a good example. He has worked hard for 4 years and now is in a position to help out the team. He didn't just coast during his time here. He worked hard and improved to a point where he is a solid contributor.
I think I read that last July, before his injury, he was the top athlete (lineman?) at a Minnesota Gophers camp.
Watched video from his junior year, very trim 262-lb kid with lots of room for good weight, it appeared. And he's 25 lbs heavier now than then.

I thought this staff pulls offers of a commit visits elsewhere? Maybe that's another school though. I'm not sure.
Yup. Can't wait for the TV color guy two, three years from now ask- How did Iowa let this kid get out of Iowa City?
We will likely take Hayes if he would commit. Otherwise I think we are done with the OL.
Not concerned at all that Iowa hasn't offered. Iowa runs a zone blocking scheme and their:coaches put more emphasis on quickness and less on bulk and power. Haven't seen Campbell's team play yet, but his OL recruits appear to be road graders. Different need, different priority on recruits.
Also OL/TE are positions where kids aren't expcted to play significant minutes for 2-3 years, so attitude and aptitude play a big part in a coaching staff's projection of a kids potential.
