All of the Nevada games that I watched, the 3/4 court press was used to speed up the tempo and not to create turnovers.umm well they dont full court press; it is a nifty 1/2 court press that could actually give us fits.
A lot of MWC teams would deliberately slow the tempo believing it would be to their advantage- hence Nevada counteracting by employing ways of speeding the game up.
Nevada will double and trap on ball screens (similar to what ISU did more early in the year). If Nevada traps ball screens ISU has the players to absolutely take advantage.
There is little defensively from Nevada that is cause for much concern. They are still solid and have athletes, but I think ISU will have ample opportunities at uncontested 3s and feasting off poor rotations and defensive lapses- IF there is solid ball rotation from side-to-side and aggressive drives. Like ALL year: ISU is best when the ball does not stick
