Nebraska sux

I bet that would save his job too.
I would think Frost would be gone at the 2-4 or 2-5 mark.

October through the first week in Nov will be what determines Frost's fate with games against IN, @Rutgers, @Purdue, IL and MN.

Assuming they lose to OU, they have to be 4-1 through this stretch if they're going to make a bowl or 3-2 if they beat OU. Any worse than that, and I don't think Frost makes it to the end of the year.

Winning the last 3 at that point would all but write the contract for the interim coach to sign.

Pretty difficult to make to ISU fans pass up on the opportunity to see iowa take an automatic conference/division loss, and yet Nebraska has managed to pull it off.

I want to be open to seeing Nebraska beat iowa every year, but I just don't see myself ever getting to that point. Truly a lose/lose situation.

I really believe Nebby needs a few random wins this year. They need just enough to give them hope only to **** all over themselves the following week. This will maximize the schadenfreude for the rest of us.
They have N. Dakota and Georgia Southern. I can pretty much promise Husker fans will be chest bumping each other if they win both of those games.
Husker fans like nothing better than watching the Huskers run up the score on small schools

I would not be surprised if they'd drop one of those games

I’m not going through this thread post by post, but even as an Iowa fan I wonder why any established coach would consider that a great job. I guess the money but those fans are nuts. It’s not just that they want to win it’s that they feel entitled to the win. That national championships 25 years ago make them owed wins now.

ND is a middle of the road FCS team. It says a lot about Nebraska football when they have to schedule the 2nd best team in North Dakota to get a win.
Nebraska's defense could be horrific this year and if they are, there's a realistic chance they could drop to either of those teams.

It's obviously a year's difference, but last year Ryan Hilinski threw for 978 total yards, 3 TDs and 4 INT in 9 games. Against Nebraska last Saturday he threw for 314 yards and 2 TDs. Again, it's a one game sample size but that's bad. That's not even mentioning they gave up 214 yards on the ground.

they don't. It's just the U of I writing class for dummies cranking out copy.

Rumor around the Jester Park Golf Course today was Ole Finger Guns Urban Meyer to be the next Nebraska football coach.
On The Dan Patrick show today they talked about the two programs that would be interesting would be

1: Arizona State
2: Nebraska

Their sense of entitlement is what is so comical.

And honestly, I think it really hurts them with regards to their football hires. They have unrealistic expectations considering where they are as a program and where they are in the pecking order of the B1G conference.

They're basically a satellite within the B1G.

So why would a top recruit from say Ohio go there when he could go to OSU, Mich, PSU, MSU or any other B1G or area school closer than Nebby?
