I live in Marion and own a shirt that says “Marion, the best part of Cedar Rapids” lol but in all honesty I like CR a lot outside of being in Hawk country. A lot more ISU fans than I would’ve expected though.

So CMC went through the entire lengthy interview process at several “who’s who” programs, got offered those jobs, turned them down only to do it all over again at another “who’s who” program then another and so on. But no one in the national media got a whiff of it? LOL.

He is waiting for the perfect job to open up, and if it happens, he will leave, until then, he is content to stay at ISU and build the program. His attitude is like many successful coaches, he has a great gig, and he knows it.

I get all of this. He just said Campbell turned down offers at a list of “who’s who” places. I’d guess that it was opportunities to interview if anything.

That has definitely changed. I lived in CR from 99-01 and there were very few clones back then. It made things better that Iowa was awful at football though.
