For all of the reasons already mentioned in this thread, they will never be what they once were. I had this conversation with a historically delusional kNU fan earlier this week and even he couldn't refute it.

False. This is the first season in the Big Ten where they've had a difficult schedule. As it is, their strength of schedule is still easier than ISU's.

That's not true at all. The B1G has actually dealt Nebby some tough schedules in comparison to the other schools that have been in their division.

Not exactly sure.

At the beginning the conference did sort of did this. Nebraska was the new girl/boy in school. So everybody wanted to meet and hook up with her, after her being around a couple weeks they realize he/she wasn't as hot as they first thought and now don't care about them as much. So they get the same old same old schedule

A special gift for Husker haters from ESPN:
A special all-Power 5 Bottom 10

Good wit as shown by this:
1. No-braska (0-3)

Its 56-10 loss to Michigan was the worst beatdown in Nebraska history since July 27, 1804, when, according to the journal of Lewis & Clark, the explorers were run out of their campsite near future Omaha by "a thick and troublesome" cloud of mosquitoes. 'Twas the 19th century ancestor of Cornhusker postgame call-in shows.
