I think CFH was probably clean. Remember when he turned ISU in to the NCAA for that one guy (can't remember the exact details).

So ALLOW THEM to talk with agents before going pro. What is the damn harm. Heck, even provide a college representative to help the young kids transition into the professional world and get a higher quality agent to represent them when the time comes. Yes they would be paid less than professionals because they are professionals yet.
I was paid in college for working with the school, oh the humanity. Is it really so hard to imagine players making minimum wage or perhaps more for the hours of work they contribute.
Bilas is obviously very knowledgeable but the only issue that I see him take a stand on is NCAA interference (transfer rules seem to be his favorite). Hopefully he becomes more vocal about how to clean up the shoe deals, AAU, and sleazy coaches who can just go from one job to another. He knows the dirt as well as anybody.
Auburns gotta love paying a player and then have bail on them. At least get a refund.
That's an interesting thing to say. That's almost begging him to be swept up into the investigation.
Well if you pay them you can allow them to get sponsors and they will be make all that money just the same.
But the problem with that is parity will go away as the programs with the most money will be able to buy the best players. If you only allow a certain "salary cap", then this sort of thing that was happening will happen again. If you allow for addidas to pay players, they will funnel to the schools who wear their stuff. It will be ass backwards.
No good answer in basketball I don't think.
And in FB, the small parity there is now will all but disappear. At least in basketball a few guys can make a difference.
Yeah, basically admitting that he didn't do the recruiting because the check looked good.
Why didn't I push baskeball on my kid?? Could have gotten paid to get busy with a hooker from ricky. Man I messed up, and the youngest won't hit school soon enough to get recruited by him.
